What are archangels ?

The archangels are angels who enforce the commands of God . Rulers who are angels carry messages that convey the divine will. Although it has been assigned a relatively low position in the hierarchy of angels, archangels have very important roles in various religious texts like the Bible and the Book of Enoch. The archangels also have names and represent different aspects of God's will .

Who are the archangels ?

Although the Bible is mentioned by name only three archangels , Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, traditionally it has been thought that there are seven archangels of God. This interpretation is based on both the seven Spirits which mentions the Gospel of John and the Book of Enoch, the Jewish tradition and the early Christians .
